WHY CAN'T I GET A REFUND AFTER THE DEADLINE?

Our refund policy is linked to add/drop deadlines. After a certain time period, another student cannot take your place in a class.

I JUST BOUGHT THE BOOK YESTERDAY. WHY CAN'T I RETURN IT?

You can, if you purchased the book during the normal return period. If you purchased your book after this time, you purchased it as a non-returnable item.

I DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE RETURNS POLICY WAS. WHY CAN'T I RETURN THE BOOKS?

The returns policy is clearly posted at the register, on our website, in the textbook area, and at the bottom of all receipts. We have made every reasonable effort to notify all of our customers of the deadlines.

I ONLY COME TO CAMPUS OCCASIONALLY. IT WAS NOT CONVENIENT FOR ME TO RETURN THE BOOK BEFORE NOW.

We allow returns for the first two weeks of class. As classes meet at least once per week, this allows people several opportunities to return any unneeded textbooks.

I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL AFTER THE RETURNS PERIOD WAS OVER THAT I WOULD NOT NEED THE BOOK.

We list books as required or optional as directed by CCU faculty. You should always check your syllabus to see how extensively the book will actually be used in class. Our returns period gives ample time for this to be done.

I BOUGHT THE WRONG BOOK. WHY CAN'T I RETURN IT.

Within the returns period, you will receive a full refund if the book is in the original condition. This provides ample opportunity for you to check with your professor, read the syllabus, and make sure that you have the correct course materials.
