Coursepackets & Moodle
PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT ALL MATERIAL NEEDED IN YOUR PACKET IS ABLE TO BE USED ON MOODLE WITHOUT OBTAINING COPYRIGHT PERMISSION. Most publishers require an "electronic media permission" to be obtained EACH TIME the material is going to be used. It is your responsibility to get this permission. If you need help, please contact the Library or the Bookstore for additional information.
As of November 1, 2006 As technology on campus continues to improve, we recommend that professors utilize the MOODLE option for creating and maintaining course materials and/or coursepackets.
Contact the Dean of Distance Education for training and/or help in this process.
WHEN "REQUIRED READINGS" ARE NEEDED FOR YOUR COURSE After compiling your "readings", the Bookstore will request copyright permission for anything needed for a "required readings" packet, create the packet, and sell them in the store just like any other text.
